Film is not content.
It is attention, held long enough
to become an image.

The studio

One continuous process.

Frame Proscenium is a film and moving-image studio founded in Scotland in 2010 by Edgar Wittek and David Borbás.

We work between independent cinema, commissioned film, music video and live performance. Directing, cinematography, production and post-production remain part of one continuous process.

Every project begins with attention: to gesture, light, space, rhythm and the emotional weight of an image. We build small, precise teams around the work and keep decisions close from the first conversation to the final frame.

Our films and installations have travelled through festivals, galleries and cultural spaces across Europe. We collaborate with artists, performers, cultural institutions and commercial partners who value a distinct point of view.

For commissions, co-productions and artistic collaborations, begin a conversation.
